The End

I'm back home. My feet are pretty sore, legs also sore. I did an extra 12 miles this morning, making a total of 47, though as I said before people will have to decide what miles count for what, as I didn't plan on spending most of the night at home!

Thanks to EVERYONE for your support, I'm not going to name people because it'll be like an Oscar winner speech. However I am going to name Ben and Chris (and James too) for all their support planning this hike, and for walking a long way in a lot of pain! From the sounds of it I've been extremely lucky - especially since weather last night and this morning (while I've been on my own) has completely defied the BBC's gloomy forecast.

Time for a lie down!

Tom.

Practice Hike Report

The practice hike was yesterday, and everything went really well.
Everything except Wetherspoons being open - so instead we had a refined
dinner at Macky D's! The actual hike is going to be about five times
as far though, and I think we're all pretty excited about it!
